💙 TONIGHT — LET’S SHOW UP FOR LAGO VISTA. 💙
Tonight’s National Night Out is about more than hot dogs, activities, and having a little fun. It’s about community—neighbors showing up for neighbors, families spending time together, and supporting the people and organizations who serve Lago Vista every day.
From all of us at Lago Vista United Baseball & Softball, we encourage our community to come out tonight, have some fun, meet our first responders, and remind one another what it looks like when a community chooses to stand together.
💙 We also encourage everyone to WEAR BLUE tonight in memory of Officer Brandon Carey. With blue already being part of our Viking school colors, it’s an easy and meaningful way for Lago Vista to fill the evening with blue.
Supporting our law-enforcement officers does not mean ignoring the larger systemic issues that deserve discussion and improvement. We can advocate for change while still recognizing the individual men and women who put on the uniform, serve our communities, protect our families, and deserve our support.
We believe communities become stronger when we choose connection over division, conversation over condemnation, and when we remember that there are real people behind the badge.
So tonight, wear your blue. Bring the kids. Shake a first responder’s hand. Meet a neighbor you don’t know. Laugh, play, eat a hot dog, and enjoy the community we all call home. 💙
We hope to see a BIG Lago Vista turnout!
