BRIDGE TO RECOVERY PROJECT
Providing a Foundation for Lasting Recovery
The Mission: We helps men and women successfully transition from treatment into a stable, supportive, and faith-based recovery environment. While treatment is an important step, lasting recovery requires ongoing support, accountability, community, and practical life skills.
Through the Lily House and Joseph House sober living programs, Acadiana Needs provides individuals with the tools, structure, and encouragement needed to rebuild their lives and establish a strong foundation for long-term recovery.

Safe Faith-Based Housing – Providing a stable and supportive environment for individuals in recovery.

Food & Basic Living Needs – Helping provide meals, groceries, household supplies, and daily necessities.

Life Skills Development – Teaching budgeting, responsibility, time management, and healthy living habits.

Discipleship & Mentorship – Encouraging spiritual growth through Bible studies, prayer, church involvement, and one-on-one mentoring.

Accountability & Structure – Providing guidance and support to help residents maintain their recovery journey.

Transportation Assistance – Helping residents access work, meetings, treatment appointments, and other recovery resources.

Recovery Support Services – Encouraging participation in recovery meetings, counseling, and healthy community connections.

Community & Fellowship – Creating opportunities for residents to build healthy relationships and experience genuine belonging.

Special Events & Activities – Supporting retreats, outings, celebrations, and activities that foster connection, healing, and personal growth.

Many individuals complete treatment but lack the support system necessary to maintain long-term recovery. The Bridge to Recovery Project helps fill that gap by providing housing, discipleship, accountability, and practical resources that empower individuals to move from surviving to thriving.

By investing in sober living, you are helping provide a bridge between treatment and independent living—giving individuals the opportunity to rebuild their lives, restore relationships, discover their purpose, and walk confidently into their future.

"Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
Philippians 1:6

OFF THE STTEETS PROJECT
is the next project of Acadiana Needs rebranding.
TELL ME WHAT YALL THINK and PLEASE SHARE

Helping People Take Their First Step Toward Recovery

The Off The Streets Project helps individuals move from addiction, homelessness, and hopelessness into life-changing treatment programs. When someone is ready to say "yes" to recovery, we help remove the barriers that often stand in the way.

From transportation and fuel costs to meals, clothing, hygiene products, and treatment essentials, we walk alongside individuals as they take one of the most important steps of their lives.

"He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay; and He set my feet upon a rock and made my footsteps firm."
Psalm 40:2

Monday June 8th

Thankful for an amazing generous partner like Bambino’s Burgers .

Bambinos delivered 125 chili dogs with chips to the Boys and Girls Club. Very happy kiddos and families for their first day of summer program.

Me and my team distributed 20 boxes of breads, sweets, produce, and fruit and some meats donated by LARC Lafayette to our 3 new iberia hotels.

Thankful for all our volunteers, partners and donors! And above all grateful for God and His provision.

Meet us next Monday at 421 fontelieu st. Watch the fb page for times and updates.

KNOWN BY NAME PROJECT
Introducing the new branding for our outreaches! Please share and let us know what you think.
At Acadiana Needs, we believe every person has a name, a story, and a purpose. The Known By Name Project
exists to meet people where they are and remind them that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.
Through weekly outreach efforts, our teams serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness, addiction, poverty, and other life challenges by providing meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, prayer, encouragement, and connections to vital resources. More than meeting physical needs, we focus on building relationships and restoring hope.
Known By Name is often the first step in a person’s journey toward healing and transformation. By taking the time to know someone’s name and hear their story, we create opportunities to connect them with treatment, recovery programs, housing resources, and the support needed to build a better future.
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.” — Isaiah 43:1

Acadiana Needs- New Iberia

Monday June 1st

God is an on time God.
Many blessings He has given me over the last couple days but the best one was yesterday.

I want to remind you that preparation matters. Not just the background prep work. But the spiritual prep work. Reading God's word to start the day, worship music to keep the atmosphere, and constant prayer and the positioning of the ❤️ heart.
Yesterday I got to speak with a young lady. And she re dedicated her life to Christ. That first step of repentance and surrender. All of Heaven rejoices.
It re ignited that fire inside of me. God gives us those little nuggets in the midst of our weariness as to say I see you my child your efforts aren't in vain. I thank God for yesterday and for that sweet Lady.

We gave out
Truckload of breads, sweets, produce, meat donated by LARC
Bible
Prayer
Love of Christ and many hugs!

I thank all of our volunteers, and partners.
If you would like to partner or volunteer please reach out to us.

I am reminded we aren't created for passive Christianity. We weren't created to just warm a seat in the church building. God has commanded us to Go and make Disciples !

This month during our Friday Night Outreach in Lafayette, we have served:

🍽️ 800 meals
🍞 75+ boxes of breads & sweets
🥣 Boxes of cereal and stuffing mixes
🎒 200 blessing bags & hygiene products

Most Importantly, we have had Five people made the decision to give their hearts to Christ for the very first time. What an incredible reminder that this is about so much more than food or supplies, it’s about souls encountering the presence and love of God.

We are beyond thankful for every volunteer, donor, and community partner who continues to help us love and serve our city well. None of this would be possible without your generosity, prayers, and support. 💜
