but indeed in the world. Recent success include:

Operation Pendleton -- refurbishing barracks and meeting facilities at Camp Pendleton Marine Base. Afghanistan Redevelopment -- building schools, technology & other centers at the university, and community-building programs in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. South Africa Improvements – developing water projects and healthcare programs for AIDS orphans. Project Refuge – assisting local refugees who have few resources after being granted asylum in the U.S. from violence and persecution in their native countries. Join us for a sample of the energy and enthusiasm that has launched so many projects, touched so many lives, and achieved so much international impact. We meet every Friday morning at 7:00 am at the UCSD Faculty Club.

Please join us on Friday morning for an update on the San Diego Crew Classic, which this year will draw tens of thousands of spectators to Crown Point Shores from March 27-29. San Diego will welcome more than 4000 athletes from 100 clubs who will be competing in 140 races on Mission Bay.

On Oct. 3, UCSD Associate Professor Benjamin Smarr will explore: Reimagining sleep care in the digital age: AIs in Never Never Land. He will be the guest speaker at the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club. We meet the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at the UCSD Faculty Club from 7-8:30. Come join us for breakfast!
