Simon Middle School PTA and Hemphill Elementary PTA are hosting a blood drive with We Are Blood, and we’re helping spread the word!

📅 Tuesday, November 3
🕙 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
📍 Bloodmobile in the parking lot between Hemphill Elementary and Simon Middle School

💯 Help Hays CISD PTAs Reach 100%!

Many Hays CISD PTAs have already reached 100% of last year’s membership total, but a few still need your support. Every new member strengthens our mission and gives every child a stronger voice.

As PTAs across Texas prepare for Rally Day at the State Capitol, our collective voice will help advocate for students, schools, and public education.

Anyone can join a PTA - you don’t need to have a student at that campus, or even have a student at all! Parents, grandparents, neighbors, alumni, and community members are all welcome. ❤️

Choose a school on the bingo card that still needs members and help it reach 💯. Already a member? Join another PTA, too!

Together, we can make every square count and help every child reach their potential.

We’re a little in our feelings over this one. 🥹💙

The community and culture at Tobias are felt in every inch of that campus. You feel it when you walk through the doors, when you interact with the adults who pour their hearts into these kids, and when you see it in the faces of the students. There is so much love, pride, and belonging here.

Tobias PTA has earned Texas PTA’s Diamond Voice for Every Child Award, recognizing a PTA membership total equal to at least 125% of campus student enrollment! 💎 That means enough voices to represent every child AND THEN SOME.

To every member, educator, family, and community supporter who helped make this happen: thank you. Watching this campus celebrate together has our hearts full.

Advocacy doesn’t have to feel complicated.

Join the Hays CISD Council of PTAs for From Connection to Change, an interactive advocacy training designed to make advocacy more approachable, practical, and connected to the work we’re already doing in our schools and communities.

Through a mix of learning, conversation, and collaboration, we’ll explore how relationships, listening, and storytelling can turn everyday actions into meaningful impact. Connect with local leaders, learn from other campuses, and leave with ideas you can put into action in your own community.
