What a wonderful afternoon at the 2nd Annual She Means Business Luncheon.

Thank you to the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce for including the Hays CISD Education Foundation and for giving our community a chance to support Hays CISD teachers through donations to the Hays Education Foundation and the Teacher Closet.

Every item collected today goes directly to a Hays CISD teacher who shops for FREE classroom supplies at the Teacher Closet.

Here is what your support actually does.

When you donate to the Hays Education Foundation, you are funding teacher grants that help educators bring their best ideas to the classroom. You are covering the student essentials families cannot afford, whether that is a pair of shoes or enrollment in firefighter academy. You are stocking the Teacher Closet, celebrating Teacher of the Year, and making sure teachers feel seen and supported all year long.

And when you volunteer your time? Every hour you give touches every single one of those programs.

What did the Teacher Closet make possible for you this year?

This program exists because teachers in Hays CISD deserve to walk into their classrooms fully stocked, without having to spend another dollar out of their own pockets. This year, more than 180 of you came through those doors and walked out with $100 worth of brand-new, free supplies.
