📢 Notice of Public Hearing: Proposed Budget, Fees, Utility Rates and Property Tax Rates.

The City of Kyle will hold public hearings on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. to receive public comments on the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget and proposed property tax rate.

The proposed FY 2026-27 budget serves as the City’s financial plan for funds, programs, services, operations and capital improvement activities for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2026, and ending Sept. 30, 2027.

All Kyle residents, taxpayers, business owners, and interested persons are invited to attend the City Council’s budget meetings and public hearings to provide their comments to the City Council.

This week we are highlighting the free classes we will be hosting as part of our Thrive Together Health & Wellness Fair on August 29 here at the Buda Public Library! Today, we are spotlighting Mental Health is Brain Health with Dr. Rebecca Farrell.

Our brains shape how we think, feel, connect with others, and navigate everyday life, making mental health an essential part of overall health. The exciting news is that our brains can continue to learn, adapt, and grow throughout our lives. Learn about the fascinating science behind brain health, discover how neuroplasticity helps us build new habits and strengthen well-being, and challenge common myths about mental health. This engaging and interactive presentation will highlight simple, practical ways to care for our brains, support our mental well-being, and create healthier, more connected lives for ourselves, our families, and our communities. This class will be held at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, and 12:30 pm.
