Humane Society, Tennessee Valley celebrated the opening of their new PetHelp Community Clinic and their 140th Anniversary with a ribbon cutting on June 3. Humane Society of Tennessee Valley provides pet adoption services, shelter support, animal transfers, a humane education programs, low-cost spay and neuter services, and a mobile pet food pantry to animals and owners throughout East Tennessee. Their new PetHelp Community Clinic offers accessible, low-cost veterinary care to pet owners throughout our community and region, ensuring more pets receive the preventive and medical care they need. In WalletHub's latest study of 182 U.S. cities, Knoxville ranked #8 overall and #5 nationally for access to entry-level jobs and strong recent growth. Tennessee was well represented on the list, with Chattanooga coming in at #17 and Nashville at #25.
