Monday nights don't get much better than this.

Four point two miles along the Clinch River at Norris Dam State Park. Clear skies, a cool breeze off the water, loaded packs, and conversation that made the miles disappear. The Songbird Trail delivered.

This is what the Monday Ruck Series is about. Showing up, loading up, and moving with people who get it.

Next ruck is Monday June 29th at Cove Lake State Park. Link below to RSVP and join us.

8.2 miles. 887 feet of elevation. 3 hours and 10 minutes on the trails at Big Ridge State Park in East Tennessee.

On June 14th, Kacy and I laced up and rucked the GoRuck 82nd Airborne D-Day 8.2 Miler to mark the 82nd anniversary of the Normandy invasion.

The humidity was relentless. There wasn't a dry piece of clothing on me by mile two — socks included. The trail terrain kept us honest — roots, rocks, and enough elevation to remind us this wasn't a walk in the park. Blisters showed up uninvited. The moleskin wouldn't stick to my heels because everything was soaking wet.

We kept moving anyway.

That's what this kind of ruck is for — not just the miles, but the reminder of what humans are capable of when they commit to something bigger than their own comfort.

The 82nd Airborne jumped into German-held territory in the early morning hours of June 6th, 1944. Enemy fire from the moment their boots hit the ground. They didn't get to stop.

We earned the patch. They earned something that no patch could ever cover.

If you've been thinking about doing a GoRuck challenge or getting a ruck on the calendar, this is your sign. You don't need a perfect day or perfect conditions. You just need to start.

Big Ridge State Park delivered on every level. Highly recommend it for your next adventure in East Tennessee.

Beautiful evening on the trails at Aspire Park with the Fierce Planet Adventures community.

We enjoyed a little over four miles of hiking, great conversations, and the chance to unplug from the noise, move our bodies, and reconnect with nature and each other.

It's amazing how much clarity, connection, and perspective can come from simply putting one foot in front of the other with good people.

Grateful for everyone who came out and looking forward to the next adventure.

See you on the trail.

FPA has gone international.

Spotted in Athens, Greece — one of our own hydrating at the Parthenon with an FPA water bottle. Two thousand year old ruins. One very fierce water bottle.

This community is just getting started and already showing up on the other side of the world.

Live Fiercely. Everywhere.

Monday night at Aspire Park delivered.

Cloudy skies, a few sprinkles right as we hit the parking lot, and 4.5 miles of solid trail on Relentless Ridge and Contender. The conversation was great, the miles went by fast, and the evening reminded us exactly why we do this.

This is what Monday rucking looks like. Loaded pack, good company, real terrain. No excuses, no shortcuts. Just showing up and moving.

If you’ve been on the fence about joining us, stop overthinking it. Lace up, load your pack, and come find out what you’re made of.

Next ruck is Monday June 8th at Cove Lake State Park. Link below to RSVP.

There's a reason you feel better after a walk in the woods. And it's not just in your head.

Trees release compounds called phytoncides — natural chemicals that have been shown to lower cortisol levels, reduce blood pressure, and boost immune function. When you breathe them in on the trail, your nervous system actually responds. Stress drops. Clarity returns. Your body starts to reset.

The Japanese have a practice called Shinrin-yoku — forest bathing — built entirely around this science. You don't have to do anything special. You just have to show up and move through the trees.

That's what we do at Fierce Planet Adventures. We don't just hike. We reset. We reconnect. We come back sharper than we left.

Your next reset is coming up June 10th at Aspire Park. Link below to RSVP.

Nobody showed up. So I went anyway.

Wednesday evening. Songbird Trail, Norris Dam State Park. Four miles along the Clinch River. Solo ruck with twenty pounds on my back.

Discipline isn’t built on the days when everything lines up. It’s built on the days when nothing does and you lace up anyway.

That’s the standard. Show up for yourself even when no one else does.

Nobody showed up. So I went anyway.

Wednesday evening at Songbird Trail, Norris Dam State Park. Four miles along the Clinch River. Solo ruck with twenty pounds.

This is what showing up for yourself looks like.

Not every session has a crew. Not every evening goes as planned. But discipline isn’t built on the days when everything lines up perfectly. It’s built on the days when nothing does and you lace up anyway.

That’s the standard at Fierce Planet Adventures. We show up. Rain or shine.

Solo or with a crew. Every single time.
If you’ve been on the fence about joining us, this is what we’re building. Real people. Real commitment. Real growth.

Come be part of it.

Live Fiercely.
