National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
The Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to preserving American history, securing America's future through better education, and promoting patriotism. Its objectives are historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor. If you can claim lineal d

escent from a Revolutionary War patriot, you may qualify to join the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). Saturday , June 13th at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center was a wonderful day to recognize our patriots buried in the Great Smoky Mountains. Marilyn Childress did a fabulous job organizing the event. Also, a Liberty Tree was planted by SAR and Mary Blount DAR Chapter.
Andrew Bogle DAR Chapter members First Vice Regent, Debra Wilson, Regent Suzann Emery and Appalachian District Director Susanne Thacker were able to attend. Thanks for all the hard work. Enjoyed by all.
