The Alpha Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Welcome to the Alpha Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta!

Alpha Epsilon was founded at The University of Tennessee on September 26, 1925. Since then our members have lived by our motto and strive to make this chapter that which is honorable, beautiful and highest. Known as one of the most involved chapters on campus, our KD ladies can truly be called volunteers. Having more philanthropies than any other NPC sorority, Kappa Delta’s philanthropies at UT include War of the Wings (a gameday tradition since 1992 benefiting the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital), Shamrock Week (supporting Prevent Child Abuse America), and sponsorship with local Girl Scout troops. We hope you enjoy getting to see a little about what the Alpha Epsilon chapter is about. If you have any questions, please contact:

President, Sarah Batastini

The most perfect night at the Greek Hall of Fame Celebration !! 🎩🤍🪄

We are so proud to celebrate Kappa Delta alumna Melanie Schild on her induction into the University of Tennessee’s Greek Hall of Fame!

From serving as President of our Alpha Epsilon Chapter to becoming Executive Director of Kappa Delta Sorority and Foundation, Melanie has dedicated her career to developing confident leaders, strengthening organizations, and empowering women to make a difference. Her impact extends far beyond Kappa Delta, with distinguished leadership roles in organizations including Girl Scouts Heart of the South and the Association of Junior Leagues International.

Melanie’s lifelong commitment to leadership, service, and sisterhood embodies the very best of Kappa Delta. We are honored to celebrate her incredible legacy and the lasting impact she continues to make on our sisterhood and communities everywhere.

Congratulations, Melanie! 💚 AEKD LOVES YOU!
