Chartered in February 1935, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Nu Zeta Chapter is the graduate chapter in Knoxville, Tennessee. W. F.

Chatered in February 1935, the Nu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., is a graduate chapter in Knoxville, Tennessee through the concerted efforts of our late Soror Fannie C. Clay, our late Phi Beta Sigma brother Dr. D. Flack, and Soror Carrie Williams McDade. Our charter members consist of Sorors Fannie Clay, Georgia Stone Davis, Almeda Ford Drewery, Valanine Williams Macklin, and Carrie Williams McDade. We are striving everyday to continue with the legacy of our Five Pearls by upholding the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood with everything that we do. Like our International Grand Basileus Mary B. Wright says, we must continue "Building on the Principles of Zeta while Blazing New Paths."

October is National Bullying Prevention Month

Today is Unity Day, a day that was started by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center in October 2011. This day is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month.

Here are a few stats according to www.pacer.org/bullying/info/stats:

🧡 A higher portion of female than of male students report being bullied at school (21.8% vs. 16.7%)

🧡 The most common places on a school campus where a student experiences bullying are a classroom (39%), a hallway or stairwell (37.5%), the cafeteria (25.1%), and outside on school grounds (24.4%).

Today, members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Nu Zeta Chapter wear the color orange and come together in unity sending a visible message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to show that no child should ever experience bullying. 💙🤍🧡

Share Kindness + Promote Acceptance + Encourage Inclusion = Bullying Prevention

Did you know? Nearly 300,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and 1 in 8 women in America will face it in their lifetime. While progress has been made, awareness alone isn’t enough.
For black and brown communities especially, the fight is even harder - resources and research haven’t always represented us. But Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is working to change that.

💕 Your voice, passion, and support can make the difference. Together, we can ensure every woman has access to the screenings, support, and care she deserves.

✨ Don’t just wear pink - take action!
✔️ Get screened.
✔️ Get involved.
✔️ Make a donation.

👉🏾 Let’s fight for every woman, everywhere.

Some things are worth passing down. Harm isn’t one of them. 🔥💙

Finer Women Don’t Haze x National Hazing Prevention Week 2026 is officially here, and this year’s message is clear:

Pass the Torch, Not the Trauma.

We can honor our history without repeating harmful practices. From our newest members to our most seasoned Sorors, each of us has a responsibility to protect the Sisterhood and help shape what comes next.

This week, we’re making space for real conversations around accountability, safety, respect, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

So, Sorors, the torch is in our hands.

🔥 What will you choose to pass forward?

It is our pleasure to welcome Soror Jada Hester to Nu Zeta Chapter!! Soror Hester was initiated through Rho Alpha Zeta Chapter in Spring 2024.

Her favorite principle is Scholarship. "I believe education opens so many doors and creates opportunities for growth and success. The opportunity to pursue an education is a privilege, and I value being part of a sorority that not only promotes academic excellence but also provides scholarships and resources to help others achieve their educational goals."

We look forward to supporting you Jada🧡 in your educational journey while creating many memories together in the sisterhood. 💙🤍🕊
