Jennifer "Jenni" Joyce Downs, 20, was a true California girl, having been born in Los Angeles County on September 4, 1970, and growing up in Riverside County. Another case with little information, I will post what I do know. She graduated from Hemet High School, and had at some point lived in Bermuda Dunes - at the time of her disappeareance, she was still working in that area, at Carl Jr.'s, a fastfood restaurant. On May 14, 1991, she used a payphone in Weston Park to call her mother. She said that she would be returning later than she had planned, as she had met some friends (did she "meet up" with friends? Or were these "new" friends?). At any rate, she was never heard from again. A search of her apartment showed nothing disturbed or missing, and she had left an uncashed paycheck at her place of employment. What happened to her? There is nothing to indicate she planned to leave. Who were these "friends"? She was approximately 5'2", 95ish pounds, with strawberry blonde hair (please note: some reports state just blonde, and photos indicate a variance of the shade), with the following tattoos: a rose on her left breast, and a cat of some sort on her shoulder/left arm (again, reports vary, so keep an open mind). Unless it's been updated, no fingerprints, Dna, or dentals are available. However, a close up of her teeth indicates that she possibly had a small diastema between her two front teeth.
