Why become a Partner of the Arena?

We’re in our second week of Adaptive Riding, and already, we’ve heard parents say how grateful they are to see their rider SMILE the entire time they’re riding.

We have parents who are thrilled to see their child thrive while doing something HARD, something that challenges them and makes them feel strong.

We’ve seen riders learn to direct their horse when they can’t use their words or reins.

That’s connection, strength and communication at work.

And sometimes, you can see the impact right there on a rider’s face. ❤️

We received a very generous donation from a local golf pro to support auction baskets and to get creative with.

So come shop for yourself, or get a jump on Christmas Shopping! Attire is mostly ladies, but there are some excellent men’s shirts and shoes as well.

Here’s a moment to just say THANK YOU to all of our Partners of the Arena! 💛

A lot of attention goes to our big sponsors and organizations that support us through grants (and we are so thankful for them!), but our monthly donors provide something incredibly important too: support we can count on month after month.

Their gifts help us buy hay for the horses, make sure equipment is safe for our riders, and even take care of the mundane things, like putting gas in the tractor to soften the arena footing.

There’s something special about knowing we have people who believe in TROT and choose to support us every month.

Jessica, our Executive Director, and Stephanie, our Business & Community Development Specialist, officially got in the saddle for the very first time!

So much of running TROT depends on good administration, people skills, and nonprofit know-how, so prior horse experience isn't required for all of our staff. But now that they've ridden, we can officially call them cowgirls. 😉

They got to experience firsthand the confidence built by climbing onto these big animals (especially Brin), and maybe even more to climb down.

They'll definitely be the first ones on our next horse that we are considering for the program. ;) Just kidding!
