We’re officially ONE WEEK AWAY from Elijah Family Homes’ 11th Annual Breakfast Benefit, presented by Pacific Edge Enterprise Technology Services! 💙

On October 23, our community will gather to hear how stable housing and supportive services are helping local families move forward in recovery and work toward lasting self-sufficiency. We’ll also share how community support makes it possible for Elijah Family Homes to continue walking alongside parents and children throughout their journeys.

These printers never stood a chance! 🖨️🔨

It’s been about a month since the Printer Smash at Abadan, and these photos are too good not to share. The Tri-City Regional Chamber’s Business After Hours brought an incredible turnout and raised over $1,300 for Elijah Family Homes! 🥳

Adults and kids alike joined in the smashing, with dry ink flying as printers met their match. Good food and fun music kept the evening going between swings!

Abadan, thank you for choosing EFH as the beneficiary and for consistently supporting our mission. Your generosity helps us provide stable housing and supportive services for families in our community. 💙

Last week, our leadership staff and several board members were happy to attend the Women Helping Women FTC Annual Luncheon! 💙

As one of WHW’s grant recipients, Elijah Family Homes is especially grateful for their support of our work with local families. It was a pleasure to come together with others who care about helping women in our community and support an event that makes that work possible.

Our board members also made time for a little photo booth fun! Pictured are Johannah Weeks, Jolene Johnson, Jennifer Krug, and Kristine Connolly.

Thank you to Women Helping Women and everyone who contributes to this luncheon. We appreciate the care you put into supporting local women and the organizations that serve them!

Help us wish a very Happy Birthday to the one and only Sandy Records! 🎉

If you’ve worked with Elijah Family Homes for any length of time, there’s a good chance you’ve worked with Sandy. She is our bookkeeper, our resident keeper of all things money, and affectionately known around the office as “Moneybags.” 💰

Invoices, payroll, monthly housing costs... Sandy keeps it all straight. And if there happens to be an unpaid invoice out there, trust us, she knows about it. 😂

But Sandy is so much more than the person keeping our books in order.

She is incredibly smart, quick-witted, and armed with the kind of dry humor that can catch you completely off guard and have the whole office laughing. She keeps an eye on all of us, makes sure we’re taking care of ourselves, and regularly arrives with fruits and vegetables from her garden to share.

Her office, complete with her beloved gnomes, has a warmth to it that feels a little like walking into your favorite Grandma’s house. And somehow, no matter how busy things get, Sandy’s nails are always perfectly manicured, usually in her signature burgundy or maroon. ❤️

We’ve also been especially proud to watch Sandy step outside of her comfort zone this year. While she may be one of the quieter members of our team in public, she has spent more time connecting with people at community events, sharing about Elijah Family Homes, and helping others understand the work we do. Seeing her confidence grow has been pretty special for all of us.

Sandy is a cornerstone of Elijah Family Homes. We rely on her knowledge and dedication every single day, but even more importantly, we value the humor, care, friendship, and steady presence she brings to our team.

Happy Birthday, Moneybags! We hope your day includes a beautiful new set of nails, a few gnomes, absolutely ZERO unpaid invoices, and plenty of people reminding you just how loved and appreciated you are. 🎂🥳💙

A big thank-you to Richland Judo, and especially Sensei Justin Chambers! 🥋

Sensei Justin joined us as a vendor at our first annual Bloom Anywhere Kids Fair and has continued to partner with Elijah Family Homes since. Through his generosity, so many of our kiddos have had the opportunity to enroll in judo for the first time!

We appreciate his enthusiasm and the warm welcome he has extended to our families. Giving children the chance to explore a new activity means so much to the parents we work alongside.

Thank you, Sensei Justin, for your continued support of our kiddos. We’re so glad the Bloom Anywhere Kids Fair brought us together! 💙
