What a great weekend of canoeing and caving and fishing.

This trip featured the future of the Troop with most Scouts in their first two years with the Troop. We learned how to manage a canoe, to save ourselves in a storm, to learn to fish, what "cave popcorn" is, and to even get growled at by a bear.

Great job 168!

Congratulations to Ramiro Gracia de la Cruz for passing his Eagle Board of Review last night! Great job Ramiro!

Six scouts and three adults went on an adventure on the Washington Coast in the Olympic National Park. Four days of backpacking led to sore feet and incredible wildlife viewing. These were tough routes with most being scrambles across loose pebble beaches, large boulders, or seaweed covered inter-tidal zones. This was probably the toughest backpacking trip Troop 168 has done in the past 5 years. The Scouts did a very good job on this trip overcoming all of the obstacles. Great job 168! We do hard things!
