A major milestone and exciting day at Station 74!

Richland Fire & Emergency Services has received its first delivery of whole blood for the Blood on Board program, bringing us one step closer to providing life-saving blood transfusions in the field.

In emergencies involving severe blood loss, every minute matters. Having whole blood available on our BC unit allows our paramedics to begin critical treatment sooner, before patients reach the hospital.

This is an important step forward in strengthening emergency medical care and improving outcomes for patients in our community!
