Happy Pride Month from KACS!

At KACS, we believe every neighbor deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and supported.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the strength, diversity, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to building a welcoming community where everyone has access to food, housing support, education, and the resources they need to thrive.

Together, we can continue creating a community rooted in compassion, dignity, and belonging for all.

Every donation to KACS helps feed more families, provide stable housing for neighbors in crisis, and create pathways for individuals working to break the cycle of poverty.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we have already raised $51,000 toward our $75,000 matching gift challenge!

But we still need your help to reach our goal by June 21st.

Will you help us cross the finish line and maximize this opportunity to support our neighbors in need?

• Every dollar makes a difference.
• Every gift helps build a brighter future.
• Every donation will be matched.

Together, we can ensure more families have food on the table, a safe place to call home, and hope for tomorrow.

Thank You, CCFB!

A special thank you to María from Chester County Food Bank (CCFB) for visiting KACS! She shared information about CCFB’s cooking programs with our participants and jumped in to help during Friday’s Bonus Shop distribution.

Partnerships like this help connect our neighbors not only with nutritious food, but also with the knowledge and resources to make the most of it.

Thank you, María and CCFB, for your support and for helping strengthen our community!

When there isn’t enough housing, everyone feels it.

But progress is happening.

In 2024, the Chester County Department of Community Development set a goal to add 1,000 affordable housing units in Chester County by 2030, and it's already underway:
🏘️283 new homes opened
🚧139 units under development
⚙️67 units pending

Each new home means more stability, more opportunity, and more people able to live and work in the community they call home.
