Camp Week is filled with BIG adventures, plenty of excitement, and lots of activity. But some of the most meaningful moments happen when we slow things down.

Through yoga, our campers have an opportunity to pause, breathe, stretch, and reconnect with themselves. It's one of the many ways therapeutic programming is woven into the Camp Dreamcatcher experience, giving our kids tools they can carry with them long after Camp Week ends.

Because sometimes camp magic looks like soaring through the sky on a zip line. And sometimes it looks like finding a little peace and stillness in the middle of an action-packed week.

Thank you VISTA.Today for sharing our story - Camp Dreamcatcher has launched a Teen Mental Health First Aid Training for youth.

Sometimes the magic happens when you find the courage to let go and FLY!

This week, our Camp Dreamcatcher campers have been soaring through the sky on the zip line and swing jump at NorthBay Education Center, pushing beyond their comfort zones and discovering just how brave they can be.

Because at Camp Dreamcatcher, an adventure is never just an adventure. It's an opportunity to try something new. To trust yourself. To hear your camp family cheering you on. And to experience that incredible feeling that comes from saying, “I DID IT!” 💛

These are the moments that build confidence, create memories, and remind our campers that they are capable of incredible things, both at camp and long after they return home.

There are some Camp Dreamcatcher moments that simply can't be captured in words...but these photos come pretty close!

Earlier this week, our campers jumped, danced, laughed, and completely disappeared into mountains of bubbles during one of everyone's favorite Camp Week activities: THE FOAM PARTY!

For a few joy-filled hours, there was nothing to think about except the music, the friends beside them, and just how much fun they could possibly pack into one giant cloud of foam.

And that's part of the magic of Camp Dreamcatcher. Here, kids impacted by HIV/AIDS have a place where they can feel supported and understood, build lifelong friendships, and most importantly, have the freedom to simply be kids.
