Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop — Everyone Is Welcome!

Join KACS for our FREE Bridges Out of Poverty workshop on September 4, 2026, from 9:30am–1:30pm and gain new insights, perspectives, and practical tools for creating meaningful change.

During this interactive workshop, you’ll:

• Understand the causes and impact of poverty
• Explore how different life experiences shape mindsets
• Learn practical tools to help reduce barriers
• Connect with people from diverse backgrounds
• Discover ways to foster more effective community support systems

This workshop is FREE and open to all members of the community – including employers, educators, volunteers, service providers, community leaders, and anyone interested in learning more about poverty and strengthening our community.

Getting Ahead is a free 16-week workshop for building long-term stability - not just financial, but the connections, resources, and support systems that hold everything else up. Morning and evening sessions are available in Kennett Square, depending on your language preference.

You won't do this workshop alone. You'll be alongside neighbors working toward the same goals.

New session starts in August. Spots are limited.

Here's to another great Getting Ahead workshop. Way to go, graduates!

Congratulations to Our Getting Ahead Graduates!

Last night, we celebrated the accomplishments of 31 outstanding graduates who completed the deeply intensive Getting Ahead workshop.

Through courage, determination, and hard work, these participants invested in themselves, explored pathways to stability and success, and built strong connections along the way.

We could not be more proud of all they have accomplished and all that lies ahead for them. Congratulations on this incredible achievement!
