High School & College Student SINGERS!
Are you a youth age 13-23 who sings in a school chorus, church choir, or musical theater?
Are you ready to master new musical skills, have a blast, and make lots of friends who share your love of singing?
If so, you may be ready to try the close harmony a-cappella craze that is sweeping around the world! It is 4-part, close harmony known as Barbershop A Ca****la.
What makes close harmony singing so exciting is the tight teamwork that involves the singers:
• Each part is essential.
• It builds listening skills.
• Improves pitch accuracy.
• Helps each singer to become more independent.
There is an introductory workshop, called Harmony Explosion Northeast (HXNE), taking place in Goffstown on Saturday October 10th. It makes Barbershop A Ca****la fun and accessible to students across New Hampshire.
This one-day event is open to ALL voices and provides learning tracks that a young singer can use at home to learn their part in advance. It's easy! A phone, computer, or a tablet and some earphones are all you need to get started.
