Monadnock United Way MUW envisions a United community where all are cared for and thriving.

Although the Monadnock United Way is best known for conducting an annual campaign which provides funding for needed services to people in the region, community building represents an equally major effort. Monadnock United Way collaborates with a variety of partners to help identify and address emerging issues and specific human service needs. These partners include social service providers, foundations, local government, education and the medical community.

Last Thursday marked the first day of site visits for our Investment Team!

Site visits are an important part of the investment process, giving our team the opportunity to meet with organizations in person, learn more about their work and impact, and better understand the communities they serve. Yesterday, we joined organizations from across New Hampshire to celebrate 211 Day and recognize the dedicated team behind the 211 Info & Referral line.

The day began with a proclamation from Governor Ayotte, followed by a celebration at the 211 Call Center, where we had the opportunity to meet and thank the incredible staff who connect people with essential services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether someone needs help with housing, utilities, childcare, food, transportation, mental health resources, veteran services, or other community supports, 211 is there to help.

Thank you to the entire 211 NH team for the compassion, expertise, and care you provide to our communities every day. Your work makes a lasting difference in the lives of so many Granite Staters. 💙

Thank you to for hosting the first event organized by the Monadnock Housing Collaborative's Policy & Planning Working Group!

It was inspiring to bring together 29 leaders from across the Monadnock region alongside housing experts from the BEA's Office of Planning & Development and NH Housing. Together, participants connected, shared ideas, and learned about local financing tools that can help expand housing opportunities in our communities.

We're grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this first gathering such a meaningful step toward strengthening housing solutions across the Monadnock region. We look forward to continuing this important work together!
