Monadnock United Way MUW envisions a United community where all are cared for and thriving.

Although the Monadnock United Way is best known for conducting an annual campaign which provides funding for needed services to people in the region, community building represents an equally major effort. Monadnock United Way collaborates with a variety of partners to help identify and address emerging issues and specific human service needs. These partners include social service providers, foundations, local government, education and the medical community.

There is a reason the educators who attended our April Playmaker workshop are left talking about it weeks later.

June 13th, we are hosting a second professional development event with the Playmaker Project. If you attended the April event, you should definitely join us for this one AND if you couldn't make it to the last one, you really need to come to this one.

On June 13th, we are bringing back the Playmaker Project for a four-hour event to be held in Keene, NH (location TBD). This session is designed for early childhood educators and administrators. Open to April attendees and newcomers alike. We will review the material shared at the last event and build on that.

Snacks and lunch provided. Kicks off at 10 AM.

🎉What a fun night celebrating our Youth Day of Caring sites with the students who participated, site directors, board members, community members and NBT Bank.

The sites did a variety of tasks including gardening, planting, cleaned up ci******es that will be recycled into benches, and teacher appreciation gifts, and painting. The future is bright! 🌞🌻🌷

👏🌻🌷Another epic Youth Day of Caring Volunteer Day! Students helped plant vegetable starters for the Keene Family YMCA garden beds which we hope will later be used in our Early Sprouts afterschool and child care programming.

They also rolled up their sleeves for a campus clean-up, rotating between both activities and making a difference every step of the way. Thanks to our lead sponsor NBT Bank! We can’t wait to see what Wi******er A.C.C.E.S.S. Monadnock Youth Coalition Project Beyond the Bell Kid Adventures are up to next! ❤️
