Graduate Spotlight 🎓 Walden’s favorite Gathering Waters memory: when his 8th grade class walked to the amphitheater for play rehearsal, but instead experienced an elaborate welcome planned by the freshman class (eventually our first graduates).

A troupe danced out of the woods, circled them chanting, and made way for someone in a plague doctor mask who read "The Rules of High School" from a cartoonishly long scroll (highlights included: being nice to peers; talking things out; not using Axe Body spray; how the Theo M. Fan Club didn't have room for new members). There was some magic to that silly ceremony, and his class was genuinely excited for high school 🎭✨

Before graduation, Walden wrote and revised a full novella manuscript for his senior capstone project. He’s now heading to UNH to study business with a focus in marketing and management.

We love seeing what our students are up to over the summer 🤩

Riley had an incredible time exploring one of his passions through a weeklong aerospace program at WinnAero’s ACE Academy at Laconia Airport!

He flew a small aircraft with an instructor, developed his skills in the flight simulator lab, and learned about aerospace on site and through field trips 🛩️

Last summer, Riley and Niomi had the opportunity to take a ride in a Black Hawk helicopter around the area!

📅 MON – FRI, 2:30 – 5:30 PM (plus 1 hour/week for snack shopping)
💸 $22/hr (part-time, hourly), plus professional development assistance
🎓 High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred
🩹 CPR/First Aid training certificate required, or willingness to complete
🌈 Experience as lead/program coordinator and working in a Waldorf school preferred

Gathering Waters Charter School and Cheshire Children's Museum are excited to provide fun crafting activities and jump rope making at Swanzey Old Home Day, this Saturday, July 18 🎉
