The OmniBallot Tablet was created to make voting accessible to individuals with a range of disabilities – including vision loss and hearing loss – so they may cast their vote in the same private and dignified manner as voters who are not using the system. In fact, anyone is welcome to use – and may find it easier to use – the OmniBallot Tablet, not just individuals with a formalized disability.

In addition to providing an accessible way for individuals with disabilities to vote, the presence of the OmniBallot Tablet encourages poll workers and ballot clerks to become more aware of issues related to inclusion and accessibility. When a person uses the OmniBallot, they are not just casting a ballot, they are also helping to preserve and protect the rights of Americans with disabilities.

The Chirichella Adaptive Division is now available at the MDS Run~Walk~Smile road race for the Flutie 5K race for athletes with Autism to compete for scholarship prizes up to $500! We recommend making sure any participants in your network with autism that intend to run The MDS Run~Walk~Smile 5K road race should register for this division, and they could win a scholarship towards their future athletic endeavors!
