The Community Kitchen Sharing news and information about our hot meals, pantry programs, and events . We are mostly donation funded which is a challenge during the best of times!

The Community Kitchen operates a soup kitchen (although we're looking for another description for what we do as it is soooo much more than that) and a food pantry. We serve the low to moderate income population of Cheshire County in New Hampshire. We host a free, open to all dinner Monday to Friday and a lunch on Sunday and our Pantry is open from 12.30-5.30pm Wednesday and from 11.30-4pm Thursday. Our only location is at 37 Mechanic Street in Keene. 603-352-3200

It's all fun and games until the dry ingredients fly out of the mixing machine. Ever had that happen? It's messy!

But we take it stride and laugh a bit when we know the end product--yummy brownies--will be making people smile at the Community Harvest Festival this Saturday.

The Harvest Festival starts at 1:00 following our Walk to Squash Hunger Fundraiser. It's not too late to join in the fun and support a good cause.

Thank you to Hemingway Farms for the delivery of gorgeous corn 🌽 and thank you to Pete's Stand for the 🥒cucumbers, zucchini, and kale you made available to the Community Kitchen Gleaning Volunteers. And thank you, volunteers for your valuable time and labor!

Thank you all for making it possible for us to share the season's bounty with our community. We're pretty sure we're going to see smiling faces during Wednesday and Thursday pantry distribution when they see this beautiful straight-from-the-farm produce. đź’šđź’šđź’š
