The Community Kitchen

The Community Kitchen Sharing news and information about our hot meals, pantry programs, and events . We are mostly donation funded which is a challenge during the best of times!

The Community Kitchen operates a soup kitchen (although we're looking for another description for what we do as it is soooo much more than that) and a food pantry. We serve the low to moderate income population of Cheshire County in New Hampshire. We host a free, open to all dinner Monday to Friday and a lunch on Sunday and our Pantry is open from 12.30-5.30pm Wednesday and from 11.30-4pm Thursday. Our only location is at 37 Mechanic Street in Keene. 603-352-3200

Mark you calendars!

🍵We will be holding our Empty Bowls Fundraiser during Taste of Keene in downtown Keene on June 6th.

This is an opportunity to support a good cause and bring home some beautiful bowls crafted by local artisans.

Plus, it is Taste of Keene so we, along with many others will have yummy food to eat! And who doesn't love an opportunity to stroll Main Street when there is no traffic?

Save the Date! The Community Kitchen is excited to take part in NH Gives, a powerful 24-hour online giving event that connects NH communities in support of local non-profits.

Please join us on June 9th and 10th from 5pm to 5pm and give to the Keene Community Kitchen.

Your generous support will help The Community Kitchen continue to:

💚 provide hot meals 5 nights a week

💚 distribute food to over 600 people per week

💚 continue mobile outreach to rural communities

Quite simply, your donation will help feed people that are facing the difficult choice between paying their rent or putting food on the table for their families.

Thank you to our friends at Eversource for their generous financial support.

It is donations like these that help us continue to meet the increasing need of people who are seeking food assistance.

Between the climbing costs of fuel and food, many people are looking to organizations such as ours to help put food on the table for their families.

Looking for something to do this afternoon? Looking for a way to support and strengthen your community?

We will be at the Keene Public Library upstairs in Cohen Hall today from 2-5:00pm.
Come and say hello and maybe sign up for a shift or two while you're at it. We would love to meet you!

We will also be seated next to many other amazing non-profit organizations that do good work for our community.
