The Community Kitchen Sharing news and information about our hot meals, pantry programs, and events . We are mostly donation funded which is a challenge during the best of times!

The Community Kitchen operates a soup kitchen (although we're looking for another description for what we do as it is soooo much more than that) and a food pantry. We serve the low to moderate income population of Cheshire County in New Hampshire. We host a free, open to all dinner Monday to Friday and a lunch on Sunday and our Pantry is open from 12.30-5.30pm Wednesday and from 11.30-4pm Thursday. Our only location is at 37 Mechanic Street in Keene. 603-352-3200

🍞🥕There will be a variety of fresh and shelf-stable food items at no cost.

With the rising costs of food and fuel costs, we are seeing increased numbers of people asking for food assistance. All of the funds we raise will go toward our year-round programs: Hot Meals, Pantry Distribution, Mobile Outreach, and Gleaning.

If it seems like we ask often, it is because we are feeling the pinch of these raising costs too.
