Since early April, Bryan has called Friendship Inn home while he underwent treatment for prostate cancer. On Monday, he completed his final treatment and is now headed back home to Nebraska. 💙
While we’re always here with open arms whenever he needs us, we’re hoping this trip home is the start of a long, healthy chapter ahead. Safe travels, Bryan and Kristi — we’ll be cheering you on from Kansas City.

"We wanted to thank you for our midweek stay in Friendship Inn. Medical procedures in a large hospital, hours away from home, are dreaded and exhausting. Our stay at the Friendship Inn was an oasis and relieved so much of our stress! The parking was wonderful, the facilities were outstanding, and the thoughtful organizational preparations were phenomenal. Everything was provided from the antibacterial soap, spotless rooms, snacks, and as a bonus information about the 24 hour transportation service to and from the hospital by the KU security staff. What a wonderful legacy this foundation has provided, as well as as Kadesha and Emily implementing! Thank you!" -Marjorie and Terry

Loved getting to share Friendship Inn on My KC Live today and share some of the delicious bites on the menu at to Off to the Races for Friendship Inn, our Derby fundraiser this weekend.
