Give to inspire others to give. FHSU Tiger Pride Alumni and Friends Chapter (formally known as FASTigers and Postrock) and Teaming Up for Tots is giving you an opportunity to give to others by participating in the Angel Tree Project at Fort Hays State University. An Angel Tree is on display at the Memorial Union (near Starbucks) until December 14th. Just stop by and pick up an angel, purchase a gift and then return it to one of the drop off locations. It’s just that simple! Make a difference in the life of a child.

Give a Gift that Counts. FHSU Tiger Pride Alumni and Friends Chapter (formally known as FASTigers and Postrock) invites students, faculty, staff and the university's alumni and friends to join them in a service project this holiday season. The group is partnering with Teaming Up for Tots to support the Angel Tree project. Each angel on the tree represents either a clothing or gift item requested by an underprivileged child in Ellis County. The Angel Tree is ready today so make your way to the Memorial Union (near Starbucks) and pick an angel for a child in need.
You don’t live in Hays? Then consider making a tax-deductible contribution to Teaming Up for Tots, PO Box 542, Hays, KS 67601 by Dec. 14. Every year, many angels are selected from angel trees, but gifts are not donated, leaving those children without presents. Financial contributions allow the organization to purchase those gifts as well as gift-wrap and other supplies.

We’ve had a great response to our FHSU Tiger Night at the Larks. watermelon feed on Saturday, July 16th.

Those of you who plan to attend, please note that we have a slight change in the event. The Lark’s game has been moved to 6 p.m. and will be a double header. To make sure you have plenty of time to visit with your fellow FHSU alums and friends and get to the game, we are changing the start time to 5 p.m.

Also, don’t forget it’s Pack the Pantry night so make sure you bring your nonperishable item. There will be a drop off spot for your item(s) at the game.
