Community Missions

Community Missions At Community Missions we believe everyone deserves safety, dignity, and hope. We offer hope, stability, and a path forward.

As a nonprofit organization rooted in compassion and community, we serve individuals experiencing homelessnes, and crisis. Because everyone deserves a home, we strive to permanently eliminate homelessness for disabled and chronically homeless men by providing shelter and housing along with services to support transition.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Employment Program, beginning Monday at the shelter!

Our case managers will be working directly with residents to assist with:

βœ… Resume creation and updates
βœ… Job applications
βœ… Employment searches
βœ… Interview preparation and job-readiness support
βœ… Guidance on workplace expectations and success

We are also excited to share that we are building relationships with local employers and exploring new employment opportunities with companies such as Walmart, Lowe's, and Triumph, helping connect residents with meaningful job opportunities throughout our community.

Our goal is to continue increasing our already growing employment rate and provide residents with the tools, support, and connections they need to achieve long-term stability and independence.

Employment is more than a paycheckβ€”it's a pathway to confidence, self-sufficiency, and a brighter future. We are proud to invest in our residents and their success.

πŸ’™ Together, we're building futures, one opportunity at a time.
