The dust has settled, the votes have been counted, and the chuckwagons have rolled out!

A huge congratulations to our Wild West Sloppy Joe Fest champions!

And a tip of the cowboy hat to our Sloppy Joe Eating Contest champions! These hungry outlaws proved they were the fastest hands at the chow table and rode away with bragging rights for another year! 🤠

While we have a few award winners, we truly believe everyone who cooked, competed, volunteered, sponsored, and came downtown to celebrate was a winner. Your support made the first-ever Wild West Sloppy Joe Fest one for the history books, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you for making Downtown St. Joseph the place to be. Until next time… keep your boots dusty, your napkins handy, and your eyes on the horizon. You never know what adventure is ridin’ into town next! ❤️

Today is the BIG day (Friday, July 10th from 4-8 pm downtown on Felix Street between 6th & 7th Street. Rain or Shine, but Mike Bracciano(KQ2) said we wouldn't have rain!

Main Street Saint Joseph, the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, and presenting sponsor Clarios invite you to The Wild West Sloppy Joe Fest! It will take place on Friday, July 10th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Sloppy Joe cook-off and tasting experience hosted inside the United at 602 Felix St. Felix Street between 6th and 7th will be closed to traffic to make room for outdoor festivities.

Festival highlights include:
• A Sloppy Joe cook-off competition featuring local cooks
• A crowd-pleasing Sloppy Joe eating contest (Adults & Kids)
• Live music and toe-tapping tunes featuring: Brothers Country from 5-8 pm

Who wants to be in a Sloppy Joe eating contest? It'll be at the Wild West Sloppy Joe Fest on July 10 at 6 p.m. We only have room this first year for four competitors in both an adult and children’s division. Sweet success! The Downtown Community Improvement District (CID) was thrilled to stop by Palmer’s Ice Cream & Desserts for their grand opening and present them with a BIG check through our Real Estate Grant Program! They had the ice cream, we had the check… and let’s just say, everybody won!

Congratulations to the Palmer’s team! We’re excited to see you serving up sweet treats in downtown St. Joseph for years to come.
