Meet Noa, one of our amazing participants, alongside Andreas, our dedicated DSP at Full Life Hawaii, proudly taking part in the Special Olympics Hawaiʻi Healthy Messengers program.

Through this inspiring initiative, individuals with disabilities step into powerful leadership roles in health and wellness—as educators, advocates, and role models within their communities.

We’ll be sharing regular updates as Noa and Andreas continue their fitness journey, growth, and impact through the program. 🌱

Konawena High School’s Hiring Blitz, held at the Kona Hongwanji Mission, brought together motivated students, local businesses, and community organizations like Full Life for an incredible day of networking, growth, and opportunity.

Students showed up prepared, professional, and ready to take the next step toward their future careers 👏 From meaningful conversations to real-world experience, the event created a positive space where Hawaii’s youth could connect directly with local employers and organizations invested in their success.

Events like the Hiring Blitz are a true win-win — strengthening partnerships between schools, businesses, nonprofits, and the community while helping empower the next generation of workforce leaders 🌺

This past Saturday, and were proud to come together in support of this meaningful community event. More than 30 amazing volunteers joined us at our aid station to pass out water and snacks while cheering, clapping, and encouraging walkers and runners along the route. 💙✨

The morning was filled with smiles, laughter, teamwork, and lots of fun as our community gathered to support local nonprofit organizations across Hawai’i Island.

A special mahalo to Full Life’s Board of Directors — Martha Bouchard, Rich Janevicius, and Shirley David — for joining in the walk and supporting the event.

Big dreams are taking flight! ✨ Maja has been selected to represent Hawai‘i at the **2026 Special Olympics USA Games**—and she needs your support to get there! 🇺🇸🏃‍♀️

For over 12 years, Maja has poured her heart into Special Olympics Hawai‘i—competing in track & field, bocce, and basketball with the Red Waves. Through dedication and passion, she’s discovered her love for running and is now preparing to take on the national stage in Minnesota! 💪🔥

This journey is about more than competition—it’s about courage, growth, and representing our island home with pride and aloha. 🌈
