Koba for Success

Koba for Success Koba for Success is located in Kona, Hawaii. We are a partnership between school, health providers, government offices and you.

We support local students and their parents who are interested in learning English and filling out paperwork in English. Koba was brought together to:

Create and develop safe avenues for parents to become involved in their child’s academics with growing confidence in being able to contribute to their child’s academic success. Teach academic language to adults through meaningful interactions
Conne

ct resources that are available while explaining what the resources mean and how they can be used in the future. Eliminate the stereotypes that are often associated with immigrant families or displaced families. Encourage teacher - parent communication and involvement in community events.
