This past Friday the BUNCO ladies were at Pizza Ranch! The food and service was very good! Thanks so much to the staff who keep the food bins full and making us feel welcome! Check out the pictures of the ladies playing BUNCO!

JOPLIN AREA WELCOME CLUB has the following activities scheduled for the week ahead:

August 24th - Monday - The HAND & FOOT ladies will be at the NorthPark Mall Food Court. Play begins at 12:30 p.m. Call Tricia Braun for more information.

August 25th - Tuesday - Our monthly luncheon will be held at Speedy Burrito at 1710 S. Maiden Lane. Arrive at 11:00 a.m. and food will be ordered from the menu.

August 26th - Wednesday - GAME DAY begins at 1:00 p.m. Call Monica Vaughn if you are interested in playing.

If you have school supplies to donate for our local students please bring them to the luncheon this Tuesday at Speedy Burritos. Contact Cindy Starrett for more information.

Time for another week of fun and socialization! See what the JOPLIN AREA WELCOME CLUB has planned.

August 17th - Monday - The MAH JONG ladies will be gathering at the home of Suzanne Gilpin at 1:00 p.m. Contact Lana Nelson to reserve a seat.

August 18th - Tuesday - The BOOK CLUB will be meeting at 1:00 p.m. at the Joplin Public Library. Contact Joan Shoenberger for more information.

August 21st - Friday - The ladies will be meeting for lunch at 11:30 at the Pizza Ranch and BUNCO begins at 12:15. Contact Vicki Philipps to reserve your spot.

The JAWC is currently collecting school supplies for local students. If you have supplies to donate please bring them to any of the August activities. Contact Cindy Starrett for more information.

If you would like to join any of our activities please get in touch with the coordinator. Whether you are a new or seasoned player does not matter. The ladies are very happy to teach you. Come out and join in the fun!

Can you believe it’s August already!!! This week JOPLIN AREA WELCOME CLUB has the following activities scheduled. If you are able to attend we’d love to meet you!

August 3rd - Monday - MAH JONG Ladies will meet at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Suzanne Gilpin. Contact Lana Nelson to let her know you will be attending.

August 5th - Wednesday - The Out-to-Lunch Bunch will meet at the Outback Steakhouse - National in Joplin, MO at 11:00 a.m. Call Barb King to reserve your spot!

If you still need to pay your dues please send them to Membership Chairperson Donna Woolman.

We are still collecting school supplies for local students. Please bring them to events in August, especially our August luncheon which will be held on August 25th at Speedy Burrito. Contact Cindy Starrett for more information.

If you are looking for something to occupy your time please consider coming to any of our activities. We are a Not-for-Profit group and offer a variety of activities. We would love to meet you!

Last Tuesday we had our Luncheon at BTB Social. The food was very good and it was nice chatting and catching up with each other. Several people brought school supplies and they are very appreciated. See the pics below.

Ladies, this Monday, July 13th the JOPLIN AREA WELCOME CLUB will be at Northpark mall,joplin Food Court. We’ll be playing canasta. Play begins at 12:30 p.m. For more information contact Barb Farley!

This Friday, July 17th Kay Glendenning will be our hostess for BUNCO at her Clubhouse. We’ll meet for potluck lunch at 11:30 a.m. Play begins at 12:15 p.m. For more information contact Vicki Philipps. Remember to bring a dish to share!
