Undercurrent Collective UCC exists to validate all creative expressions as vital tools for voicing injustice, encouraging dialogue, and inspiring collective action through art.

Every individual holds the power to challenge systems, illuminate truths, and create meaningful change Undercurrent Collective is a non-profit art collective rooted in the belief that every person holds the power to challenge systems, illuminate truths, and inspire change. We engage with communities to affirm all creative expressions as essential tools for voicing injustice, sparking dialogue, and driving collective action through art. Our programming spans a wide range of disciplines and formats—including theatre productions, art exhibitions, youth summer camps, workshops, and community-led events. Whether on stage, in a gallery, or out in the streets, our work centers creativity as a means of connection, resistance, and transformation. At Undercurrent, we prioritize accessibility, inclusivity, and experimentation. We support artists and communities in cultivating bold, socially engaged work that confronts inequity and reimagines what’s possible when art is made for and with the people.

World Mental Health Day 2026 💚💚 a very important day we observe at UCC.

Mental health MATTERS everyday of every year. but using this day (October 10th) to spread awareness yearly, can help reach the people who feel alone, at a loss, or afraid in their struggles.

According to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health) 1 in 5 U.S. Adults experience Mental Health issues in a year and 1 in 7 youth in the U.S. ages 6-17 Experience Mental Illness in a year.

We strive to honor the individuals who battle quietly, today and everyday. 💚💚

You are not alone. If you’re struggling and looking to seek help, we’ve listed sources for you down below, including low cost treatment options.

With Care,
