Jonesboro Chapter of the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission Youth Shooting Sports Trapshoöting program. Accepting youth, both boys and girls, 5th-12th grade

The Jonesboro Trap Team participates in the AGFC's Youth Sh00ting Sports program enrolling students in the surrounding area.

5th - 12th grade students who have completed there Arkansas Hunter Education requirement are welcome to sign up for the team each January. Our sport is American Trap. Participants have the opportunity to hone their sh00ting skills and compete in local, regional, and State tournaments. They even have the opportunity to win college scholarship money. Many of our athletes go on to compete in national competition where college scouts are watching to recruit for their own sh00ting programs.

Jonesboro Trap Team is hosting our last “Intro to Trap” for 2026, Sunday 11/1/26 at 2pm at Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex.
Trap is the fastest-growing sport in the US! No experience necessary. Open to both boys & girls 5th-12th grade. Come get outside and be a part of a goal oriented, dynamic, successful team!

Photo overload from Jonesboro Trap Teams successful competition at AIM Grand National Trapshooting Championships at World Shooting and Recreational Complex last month!
Personal bests achieved were:

1. Jack Devazier - Singles 24/25 and 88/100
2. Mackenzie Walpole - 80/100 handicaps & 84/100 in singles.
3. Caine Newberry - First 25 straight , 96/100 Singles & 84/100 Handicaps.
4. Ryan Pitts - Doubles 85/100
5. Josie Snyder -50 straight singles, 96/100 singles tied personal best & 93/100 Handicaps.
6. Krewe Johnson - Singles 98/100 in second round of singles which included two 25 straight runs.
7. Brayden Kirk - Doubles personal best 90/100, Singles personal best 99/100. 1st 50 straight in Singles.
8. Easton Skaggs - Handicaps 94/100, Singles 95/100 & Doubles 75/100.
9. Jacob Bullington - Singles 195/200, Singles 99/100
