Christ Centered Combat Christ Centered Combat (C3) is a Christ-centered martial arts and self-defense organization in Joliet, IL.

We train students in practical martial arts while developing discipline, confidence, respect, self-control, and character—both on and off the mat.

At Christ Centered Combat, we believe earning a black belt is about more than mastering martial arts. It’s about becoming a leader who lives with purpose, character, and faith.

Through our Black Belt Discipleship Program, our instructors are challenged to grow both in their martial arts training and in their understanding of Scripture. We’re investing in leaders who are prepared not only to teach techniques, but to mentor, serve, encourage, and lead others well.

Because true leadership doesn’t stop when we step off the mat.

We’re raising funds to help women attend the TRU Self-Defense Seminar for FREE on Friday, November 6, and to sponsor students attending the International Combat Hapkido Federation event on Saturday, November 7!

These are opportunities that can truly change lives, but cost should never be the reason someone has to miss out.

🥋 Rest. Reset. Refocus.🩵

This weekend, our C3 board, instructors, and junior instructors had the opportunity to step away from the mats and intentionally rest, reset, and refocus.

At Christ Centered Combat, our training goes beyond martial arts. We strive to build respect, self-control, kindness, self-discipline, and inner strength—values that shape who we are both on and off the mat.

Our leadership team spent the weekend reconnecting with our mission, vision, and values, seeking God’s direction and preparing for the season ahead.

We are grateful for the time to rest, grow together, pray, and refocus on why we do what we do.

🥋 No C3 Classes — Saturday, October 3rd

There will be no C3 classes on Saturday, October 3rd as our C3 Board, instructors, and junior instructors gather for our C3 Leadership Retreat.

Please join us in praying for our leadership team as we take time to refocus on the mission, vision, and values of Christ Centered Combat. We want to continue growing not only as martial artists, but as leaders who reflect Christ through everything we do. 🙏

Pray for wisdom, unity, encouragement, and discernment as we seek God’s direction for C3 and the students and families we have the privilege of serving.

Thank you for giving our leadership team this time to prepare, reflect, and grow together!
