Our summer groups and therapies are off to a great start this week!

Meet the triplets: Axel, Damien, and Alan! 💙💙💙

Many of you may recognize these three from their time as our ambassadors, and we're excited to welcome them back again this summer! They’ll be joining us for occupational therapy (OT) and speech therapy, and we can’t wait to see all the progress they make while having fun along the way.

Katie Kossakowski, our Community Day Program Service Coordinator, recently attended the Easterseals National Advocacy Week in Washington, DC. She met with Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL), as well as 5 other Illinois legislators, to discuss the need for more funding in Special Education Services, Medicaid/HCBS services, and DSP recognition and wage increase; all of those directly affect how we provide services to our youngest and oldest clients here at Easterseals, and beyond. Thank you, Katie, for your advocacy! 🫶🏽
