Come spend a joyful day experimenting with color, pattern, and texture. We’ll dive into collage by making and

collecting colors and patterns you are drawn to. We’ve got printmaking, stenciling, painting, and more. Then

we’ll layer our collected papers, prints, patterns, fabrics, and/or found images into original collage

compositions. Make a series of cards or gifts, or simply play and see what emerges.

No drawing skills required—just curiosity! You’ll get to play with paint, inks, stamps, stencils, tools, and more,

and discover techniques you enjoy and combine them into designs that delight you.

All materials are provided. Come early, grab a coffee at Moon & Mug, then join us upstairs on the 3rd floor.

Optional: Bring your own sparks of inspiration—photos, leaves, ticket stubs, old magazines, or favorite tools—

and see how they can become part of your collage story.

Colorful fabric pieces tucked into pre-cut grooves to create your design.

Join us for this beautiful and beginner-friendly Japanese art form—Kinusaiga! (keen-oo-sigh-gah) This is a craft you probably never heard of but will fall in love with. It was popular in the late 70’s and is now made a comeback.

It looks like a cross between quilting and stained glass but it isn’t. This is “fabric painting” without sewing, using colorful fabric pieces tucked into pre-cut grooves to create your design. All materials, tools and instructions are provided so you can relax and watch your artwork come together. AGE:18+ yr old

Bring your worn jeans or clothing that has a “hole” and learn ways that you can visibly patch it in a cute decorative way.

Do you like to upcycle clothes? Do you like to do hand sewing, such as embroidery or sashiko? What about mending clothing with an under patch with some fancy stitching, or weaving with colored floss? If this sound like fun to you, then this is the class for you!

Bring your worn jeans or clothing that has a “hole” and learn ways that you can visibly patch it in a cute decorative way. We do have some supplies available; however, you are welcome to bring your own favorite sewing notions such as: needles (sewing, embroidery, darning), pins (straight & safety pins), embroidery floss, small embroidery scissors & fabric marking pens
