JENNER COMMUNITY CENTER is happy to have Neil and Susan Silverman, local professional photographers give this workshop. They have done this at Mendocino Art Center, Gualala Art Center, and Sebastopol Center of the Arts. I know I am going to take it!

August 22, 2026: Jenner Community Center, 10 to 4 :::The Photographer’s Eye: Creating Better Images with Your iPhone This workshop goes beyond camera settings to help participants develop a stronger photographic eye. Learn how to use your iPhone’s powerful camera features while exploring composition, light, exposure, portraits, panoramas, macro photography, and creative techniques. You’ll leave with new skills, fresh inspiration, and a new way of seeing the world around you. CREATIVITY WITH YOUR iPhone: This workshop goes beyond camera settings to help participants develop a stronger photographic eye. Learn how to use your iPhone’s powerful camera features while exploring composition, light, exposure, portraits, panoramas, macro photography, and creative techniques. You’ll leave with new skills, fresh inspiration, and a new way of seeing the world around you. All levels of photography experience are welcome and all camera phones are welcome, but we will demonstrate on the new iPhone

Over 47,000 of these Coho juveniles which were raised by the USACE at Warm Springs Dam Hatchery have been released into Sheephouse Creek since 2004 as part part of an ongoing multi million dollar taxpayer funded Russian River Coho Salmon Captive Broodstock Program. The only way that Coho Salmon can be restored in the Russian River is if lower river tributaries such as Austin, Freezeout, Sheephouse, Dutch Bill, and Green Valley Creeks are recovered to functional Coho salmon conditions.
