La Leche League of Boston Parent to Parent Breastfeeding Support for the Families of Boston and Brookline

La Leche League of Boston provides monthly meetings as well as phone or email support for breastfeeding mothers and babies (and their families). Our services are provided on a volunteer basis, but we encourage membership in our local group as a way to support the costs of managing the group.

Hello! On Monday we are hosting our June meeting at the Brookline Library, Putterham Branch at 959 W Roxbury Pkwy, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467. They have a parking lot, and we have reserved their meeting room. On June 1st we will meet at 11:30am. Some months we may start at 11 when they do not have a storytime at 10:30 (which they do on 6/1 if you want to attend). They also have an outdoor space that we would love to use if the weather is nice, we'll post when it gets closer so you can plan accordingly. Let us know if you have any questions, hope to see you June 1st!

Hello! Our May meeting is tomorrow. We will meet at Baby B***y in Dedham at 11am. If you haven’t been to a meeting before, we start with introducing ourselves and then we talk about anything and everything related to feeding babies whether you are nursing a 1 week old or a preschooler. We welcome expecting parents as well. Sometimes we are troubleshooting and other times just sharing our common experiences with nursing.

There is usually a Baby B***y workout class wrapping up before us, when you come in please remove your shoes and head over to the couch, we'll gather in that area.

Sadly, Baby B***y is closing at the end of the month so this will be our last meeting there. We are looking for a new space, and planning to continue meetings on the first Monday of each month at 11am. If you have any ideas feel free to reach out!
