Speakers include people from the Jamaica Plain community who are involved in dynamic and stimulating work near and far, as well as regional and national authors, activists, artists and thinkers. Everyone is welcome to attend the Jamaica Plain Forum. All activities follow the principles of tolerance, respectfulness and inclusiveness. Although no fee is required for attendance, donations contribute to building-use fees and JP Forum expenses. All Jamaica Plain Forum activities are wheelchair accessible.

I have not taken this course, yet, but am completely committed to the purpose. Check it out.

"White men have been told lies—lies created to manipulate our most intimate sense of self and mold us into foot-soldiers of empire. Capitalism, white supremacy and patriarchy, systems which pretend to benefit us, have fractured our sense of wholeness and keep us disconnected from one another.
Standing on the shoulders of a long line of feminist and anti-racist leaders, we believe that personal and collective healing are essential practices to resist these disembodying and divisive forces. We also know that inner work must be accompanied by deep engagement in social movements striving to create a truly egalitarian democracy. These tasks will require tools different from those we have been given by the oppressive systems around us.
This course is designed to support men in cultivating holistic identities to find belonging in our work for justice. Through mindfulness, political analysis, emotional awareness, and expressive practices, we will begin to heal ourselves and build a resilient community committed to creating meaningful change in the world."

New online course for white men who want support in these times to throw down for multiracial feminist democracy and economic justice.

Join Chris Crass and Topher Stevens and be part of a supportive community for learning and taking action.

Registration is open.

Mondays, Sept 23, 30 & Oct 7, 14, 21, 28
