What a weekend! 💙💛

The Jackson-Madison County NAACP Youth Council had the opportunity to attend the 80th Annual Tennessee State Conference NAACP Convention, and what an amazing experience it was!

Five of our Youth Council members attended and represented Jackson-Madison County with excellence, leadership, and pride. We are also excited to share that our council came home with TWO awards:

🏆 Youth Council Membership Increase Award
🏆 Youth Council of the Year Award

In addition, our President, Jeremyah McGill, was honored with the Tennessee NAACP Youth & College Division President’s Award!

We are incredibly grateful for every youth member, parent, advisor, supporter, and community partner who continues to pour into our council. These awards are a reflection of what can happen when we work together and remain committed to developing the next generation of leaders.

We are thankful for how far we have come, and even more excited about where we are going! 💙💛

The places we shall go!
