🚒 Introducing Clothes Through Crisis! 🚒🍀

We are excited to announce the launch of Clothes Through Crisis, a Butts County 4-H community outreach initiative led by Paislee Collier, Northeast District 4-H Junior Board Representative, in partnership with Butts County Fire and Emergency Services!

❤️ Providing comfort, dignity, and hope when it matters most!

This initiative will provide emergency clothing kits to first responders to help individuals facing house fires, accidents, and other unexpected crises.

👕 WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are collecting new and gently used ADULT clothing in sizes Small–XL, specifically shirts and pants. Monetary donations will also help purchase packaging supplies.

Our goal is simple: Support our neighbors in times of crisis while strengthening the bond between our community and first responders.

Stephanie Stuckey is our keynote soeaker of the conference. She is the Chair of Stuckey’s, the roadside oasis famous for its pecan log rolls. The company was founded by Stephanie’s grandfather, W.S. Stuckey, Sr., as a pecan stand in Eastman in 1937 and grew to over 350 stores across the country. She invested her life savings in 2019 to reclaim the company and restore her grandfather’s legacy.

Stephanie didn’t rebuild Stuckey’s overnight. Her story reflects what we know about improving outcomes for children and families: staying true to our values and mission, committing to shared goals over time, and adapting to new challenges. Her journey reminds us that success is about more than the bottom line. It’s about knowing what matters and building something that lasts—little by little.

The Georgia Family Connection conference has been su h an incredible, eye opening, learning experience and opportunity. So thankful to be here and for everyone who made this event possible

Join us on 11/7 at Roots Outdoors for a Dad/kid Adventure! Free opportunities to try shooting bows and arrows at targets in their indoor range. A chance to connect with other dads and learn something new!

Have a teenager between the ages of 13-18? Have them join us tomorrow night, for the first meeting of No Butts About it: YOU MATTER, happening at Patterson Sims Park at 6pm. This is a teen lead program, and an excellent opportunity for our teens to learn they are not alone, and that they matter.
