💙 DEMENTIA: Understanding, Supporting & Caring Together 💙

Caring for someone with dementia can be overwhelming. There are good days, difficult days, and days when you simply don’t know what to do next. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Join the Greater Butts County Lions Club TOMORROW NIGHT, Tuesday, August 25th at 6:00 PM at The Rivers Ranch for a FREE Dementia Seminar.

Our featured speaker, Jennifer Turk with Anam Cara End of Life Doula, will share helpful information about:

• Caring for a loved one with dementia
• Communicating through the changes dementia can bring
• Recognizing caregiver burnout
• Finding resources and support
• Knowing when it’s time to ask for help

Sometimes help may simply mean having someone stay with your loved one long enough for you to run errands, go to an appointment, attend church, have lunch with a friend, or just have a few hours to yourself. Caregivers need care, too. ❤️

This seminar is completely FREE and open to everyone. Whether you are currently caring for someone with dementia, helping another family member who is a caregiver, or simply want to be better prepared for the future, we hope you’ll join us.
