Executive Director Erik Conradson had the opportunity to stop by the Chetek, WI Police Department today where he presented the police department with a Courage Incorporated challenge coin in honor of Officer Emily Breidenbach. Emily Ann was a friend of our organization before becoming a police officer and was the catalyst for a generous donation on behalf of Cabela's that elevated Courage Incorporated to a new level. Emily's coordination of this donation allowed us the opportunity to expand our program offerings and serve more people. These donations are still in use today. After leaving Cabela's Emily joined the Chetek Police department, but sadly in 2023 she was killed in the line of duty.
Emily was the type of person and police officer who led with kindness and was focused on helping others. Her memory lives on through our organization and undoubtedly through the lives of those within the Chetek Police Department and the family and friends she left behind.

The annual Courage Incorporated fundraiser banquet and raffle was Saturday at Rock River lanes in Ishpeming. They beat their benchmark goal of ten thousand dollars, pulling in about 12 thousand.

This past weekend, we hosted our 4th Annual Courage Incorporated Community Fundraiser — and what a night it was!

Just under 200 people packed into River Rock Lanes & Banquet Center helping us raise roughly $12,000 to support our programs!

We gave away more than $13,000 in cash and prizes - all of which was donated by our amazing community!

***THANK YOU*** to everyone who showed up, volunteered, donated, and continues to believe in the positive impact of our programs. We’re humbled and so grateful for the generosity and heart shown by all of you. Together, we’re changing lives and we couldn’t do it without you.
