Another summer adventure season is in the books... we closed out the summer with a trip that really made a mark on the people who participated with us.

We hosted a group of both civilians and veterans, all of whom loved being active in the outdoors but could no longer enjoy the woods and the water without a little help - all of whom deeply appreciated this opportunity to reconnect themselves with nature.

Memories and new friends were made, fish were caught, boat rides were enjoyed, and campfires were the ties that bind us together.

It truly is amazing to watch as these souls come to us nervous, tentative, and unsure; and how we watch them leave open, confident, and ready to embrace their next adventure. Truth be told... its good for us too.

It is adventure time... we're hosting our last scheduled trip of the Summer this weekend!
We're doing our final prep and checking things over to ensure we're set up for a memorable weekend!

This past weekend we spent time out on Lake Superior sailing with some of our favorite people - U.P. Sailing Company

As one of our adventure partners, U.P. Sailing Co. hosts a sailing excursion for us and some of our friends who wouldn't otherwise get a chance to participate in such a trip.

We're grateful for amazing people like Kristen & Brian VanWieren who offer their time and services to help make life better for others!

This past weekend we welcomed a few Veterans from the Michigan Veteran Homes D.J. Jacobetti on our pontoon boat for a day of cruising and fishing. It's always a lot of fun when we get to hang out with this crew and we know the guys feel the same way. It is so rewarding to give them back a little piece of their past - helping them get back out into nature is an honor for us.

This past weekend we hosted our first trip of the 2026 Summer Season! We set out for a weekend on the Yellowdog river joined by several of our friends. Our friends live with a variety of different challenges that impact their ability to get outdoors... but, that's where Courage Incorporated comes in. We're just here to help; to provide the equipment and the access. It's amazing what happens when people get to connect with the woods and the water! Here is a little peek at our weekend...

Adventure season is upon us! We're headed out into the bush this morning with a small group who are looking to get back into the woods and on the water. Yellowdog river here we come - a weekend of camping and fishing is in our future!
