Today was a great day! We raised over $1,400 for our programs today thanks to the North Wisconsin Bearded Villains and Appleton Cigar! Special shout out to Bain Blends Beard & Skin and Raven Beard Co. for sponsoring this friendly competition!

We had a great turnout with some epic beards entering the competition. Thank you to 105.7 WAPL Laura Lee & Cutter for judging again - you guys rock! 🤘

Thanks to everyone who helped organize this event, and thank you for the generosity extended by the greater Fox Valley community!

25 years. Has it really been 25 years?!
As we remember today, 9/11, as a day of unimaginable tragedy, we also like to remember all of the amazing stories of courage and hope that emerged from the terror attacks. So many brave men and women stepped forward, some sacrificing it all, to help their fellow man and protect our way of life. We honor the bravery of the first responders on that day, who ran into those buildings in an effort to help those trapped inside. We remember the men and women who were serving in our military then and the men and women who stepped forward to enlist because of the attacks. We also salute the passengers on Flight 93 who refused to let the hijackers carry out their plan - who exhibited the courage and took a stand for themselves and for the country. There are so many stories of hope and valor that have emerged from that terrible day 25 years ago.
As you remember the events on this somber day, draw strength from the stories of hope. Be proud of the heroes that have emerged. Be inspired by those who found the courage to move forward. Most of all... Never Forget.

Hey all! We're still coming down from our last weekend in the woods. What a great trip it was! We were able to host a group of both civilians and veterans, all living with a variety of challenges that have kept them from the outdoors. This trip was able to provide our friends with some much needed time in nature to reconnect themselves to the woods and the water.

Check out this video of our excursion....

Another summer adventure season is in the books... we closed out the summer with a trip that really made a mark on the people who participated with us.

We hosted a group of both civilians and veterans, all of whom loved being active in the outdoors but could no longer enjoy the woods and the water without a little help - all of whom deeply appreciated this opportunity to reconnect themselves with nature.

Memories and new friends were made, fish were caught, boat rides were enjoyed, and campfires were the ties that bind us together.

It truly is amazing to watch as these souls come to us nervous, tentative, and unsure; and how we watch them leave open, confident, and ready to embrace their next adventure. Truth be told... its good for us too.

This past weekend we spent time out on Lake Superior sailing with some of our favorite people - U.P. Sailing Company

As one of our adventure partners, U.P. Sailing Co. hosts a sailing excursion for us and some of our friends who wouldn't otherwise get a chance to participate in such a trip.

We're grateful for amazing people like Kristen & Brian VanWieren who offer their time and services to help make life better for others!

Check out this cool video for a peek at what our Saturday evening looked like....
