The Marquette Police Department and the NTN would like to remind trail users that the Michigan law requires dogs need to be leashed in public areas. It doesn't matter if your pup is the most friendly and obedient dog, leashes are required by law.

Please be courteous to other users by following the law and also controlling your dog every time you encounter others. The trails are groomed for the people, not the dogs. Let's all make sure dogs can continue to have a place to recreate with their people.

Skijor setups are available at Forestville if you don't have your own but longer bungee leashes also work well when skiing, biking, or running with your dog.

Thank you for supporting trails and making sure everyone has a good trail experience.

Please limit your time inside to a quick change, bathrooms, rentals (ski, snowshoe, and fat bike), and trail host questions. Sorry no lounging or warm up this season. Hours: M-F 10am-4pm and Sat-Sun 9am-4pm. The Welcome flag will be flying in front of the building if open. A second Welcome flag is located at the big parking lot and will be flying at all times where we have cut a new easy access groomed route.

As a reminder, dogs must be leashed per state law and leashes are required on NTN property (parking lot and stadium). Please heel fido as you encounter others so we can make sure everyone and the dogs have a great trail experience.

Daily grooming reports can be found on the www.noquetrails.org website or you can get them straight to your email be signing up at the bottom of our main website page. Please support grooming and trails with an annual NTN membership or daily donation. Trails don't happen without you. ❄

Hey Skiers: Forestville chalet operations will look a little different this winter. The chalet will only be open when staffed and use will be limited to bathrooms, changing, and rentals as we all work to protect our community. Masks will be required, occupancy very limited, and regular sanitizing will be taking place. This may change based on current health department regulations as the season progresses. Right now we are evaluating the hours for staffing and are interested in the times you would like to have access for the limited services above? Please post below the hours that you would like to see the chalet open to best serve your pre or post ski needs.
