Both teams moving on in the playoffs our HS3 team heads to the Semi finals against PT after defeating NA 4-3
John Kilvady leading the way with 3 pts (1g, 2a), Gavin Cross 2 goals, Jackson Pirl 1 goal, Lily Murray 1 assist, Mia Fisher 1 assist.

HS1 faced off against rival PT for a semi final battle.
After taking a commanding lead thru two periods 5-1. PT pushed back hard but Norwin kept battling to secure the 7-5 win and will move on to face Butler in the HS1 championship best of three series.

Senior Day. Congrats to our 7 seniors

This weekend our teams returned to action with our HS3 team falling to West A 3-2 Gavin Cross with both Norwin goals.

Our HS1 team battled PT in a double header today with both games going to OT.
Norwin fell in the first game 7-6. Leighty 2G,2A, Planey 2G,1A, Singer 1G,1A, Hill 1A, Wassel 1G.

The secong game was a much lower scoring affair with Norwin pulling out a 3-2 OT win after scoring 2 goals (Leighty, Planey)in the last 2 minutes of the game forcing the game to OT and Carl Singer capping off the come back with the breakaway OT winner.

Join us Sunday Feb 1 for Norwin Day at RMU Island Sportsplex.
Come out and cheer on our teams as they play back to back to back.
Our HS 3 team starts the day at 12:00 against West A.
Next we will celebrate our 7 Seniors before the HS 1 team faces off against Shaler at 1:00.
Then our HS 3 team returns for a 2:00 game against Central Catholic to finish the day.

Both teams faced off against Pine Richland this weekend and came away with big wins.
The HS3 team with a 10-2 mercy win and
HS1 with a 7-2 victory.

The HS3 team had their first loss of the season last week falling to PT 5-2 with goals from Cross and Pirl.

The HS1 also lost two weeks ago after a tough battle with Butler falling 4-3 with 17 seconds left. Goals from Leighty, Plamey and Hill.

Last week the HS1 team pulled out an OT win after late game heroics from Nate Planey scoring the game tying goal with only a few seconds remaining and scoring the OT winner.

This week our HS3 game won their game by a forfeit against North Allegheny (not enough players)

Our HS1 team continues to roll taking down Seneca Valley 9-1.
Scoring from Singer (1G, 3A), Leighty (3G), Planey (1G,2A), Teaman(2G), Wassel (1G), Nick Degre (1G) Sam Degre (1A).

Our HS3 team had this week off, but our HS1 team remains undefeated taking down NA with a short bench of only 6 players.
James Hill coming up big for us with 3 goals and 2 assists.

Both teams posting big wins this weekend.

Our HS3 team faced Butler for a second time this season and came away with a 7-1 win with Mia Fisher and Jackson Pirl each with 2 goals, John Kilvady with a goal and 2 assists, Gavin Cross with a goal and 3 assists, and Lily Murray with a goal.

Our HS1 had one of the toughest games of the season so far, also against Butler. They went down 3-0 early in the game but battled back to a 4-3 win. Gavin Leighty led the team with 2 goals and an assist, reaching the 100 points mark for his PIRHL high school career. Carl Singer with 2 goals, and Nate Planey with 2 assists.
