A few pictures from our fun week at Irwin Senior Activity Center. Tuesday, we had Mary from AAA talking about all they can do to make life easier. When our cars break down the comfort of having someone to call really helps. They also have alot of other savings and benefits too.
Wednesday we had our fun Penny Auction with our very own Auctioneer Anna. She make everything fun at the center and makes the Penny Auction something everyone that attends enjoys. Next one is Wednesday, May 28th. You must sign up with name and working phone number so you can be a verified attendee.
Thursday as every day we have our exercises and even some card players. Carrie's from Carrie's tours was here to give us some great ideas on traveling this Summer and Fall.
Pickleball continues to be a game that is addictive and drawing more players.
Next week we have a very exciting week planned.
Tuesday- The Department of Aging will be here giving us general knowledge of the many ways they can assist us but are also talking about the Farmers market vouchers they will again be providing us with in June. Our Bingo is being sponsored by the lovely Kristi from Care Comfort. We love when Kristi visits us.
We are also celebrating April Birthdays so let's celebrate together.
Wednesday- After our wonderful line dancing we will celebrate National Boba Day. Let's enjoy some Bubble tea together.
Thursday- We have a very special guest today. Janice is sponsoring a delicious lunch today of Chicken Croissants and Wedding soup. After lunch she will be showing he line of Parklane Jewelry. High-end jewelry at reasonable prices. Something for everyone. Bring cash incase you want to purchase something either for yourself or someone else. Remember Birthdays come up all year long.
Our crochet class continues to meet on Thursdays at 11am in the Parlor. Remember crocheting with others gives us a place to help each other learn.
Bible study continues with Pastor Barb and the teachings from the Bible, the words from God.

In conclusion I must let you know Youth minister Ron Slavin has resigned from his position at First United Methodist Church. He was an original board member and huge support to me and our Senior center. He was always willing to help in any way necessary. We want to Thank him for always being there for us and having our best interest at heart. He will be missed and we truly wish him and his family the best of luck in their future endeavors.
