Craig Caudle showed us what it looks like to live out Move for Mobility.

He has continued to use his movement, his story, and his fundraising to make a lasting impact.

In 2023, he dedicated his Dallas Marathon to people who do not have the gift of mobility, running his 6th marathon at age 63!

Craig’s commitment is deeply personal. After traveling to Peru with Free Wheelchair Mission in 2018, he saw firsthand how wheelchairs can change lives for people who would otherwise have to crawl or be carried by family members. That experience stayed with him and continues to fuel his support today.

Craig set a goal to raise $26,200 through his campaign. By the end, he had raised $31,769, far surpassing his goal and helping provide life-changing mobility to even more people!

Wright Ford Young & Co. hosted their first-ever Swing for a Cause Charity Golf Event in support of Free Wheelchair Mission and Laurie’s Scholars yesterday.

About 75 participants joined together for a day of golf, generosity, and community for the purpose of transforming lives.

We’re especially thankful to the Wright Ford Young & Co. team for planning this event, along with every sponsor, golfer, and volunteer who helped bring this event to life.

This future dad turned his 50K race into 19 wheelchairs for those in need ⏬

Last year, Joseph Spellmeyer turned a personal challenge into an "ultra" Move for Mobility campaign.

On December 14, Joseph ran a 50K in Dallas, TX—an ultramarathon that challenged him physically and mentally. As he trained, every long run reminded him of something many of us can easily take for granted: the ability to move freely.

Joseph, an associate board member at Free Wheelchair Mission, set his fundraising goal to $1,500 to help provide wheelchairs for people living with disabilities in developing countries. By the end of his campaign, he had raised over $2,000, surpassing his goal and helping make life-changing mobility possible for 19 individuals and families.
