⭐️ WISH WEDNESDAY ⭐️

Fourteen-year-old Maddie from Eastvale had to put her favorite activities on hold while undergoing cancer treatment, but she never lost her adventurous spirit.

Inspired by her love of the beach and all things tropical, she wished for a trip to Hawaii with her closest supporters, her family. From hiking through lush rainforests to snorkeling with sea turtles, her trip was truly unforgettable.

The most memorable part was achieving a childhood dream of swimming with dolphins, with Maddie sharing, “it was the BEST experience of my life!” 🐬💙

This National Best Friends Day, we’re celebrating the connections that bring comfort when it’s needed most. 💙

For wish kid Victoria, that meant being reunited with her pet Pomeranian – her best friend she had to say goodbye to when she traveled far from home for medical treatment. Her wish to reunite with her furry friend brought back joy, renewed her strength and gave her a piece of home during a time of uncertainty. 🐶

After being diagnosed with kidney disease at 12, Maggie found strength in creating art. 🎨 “Creativity is really important because it lets your mind be free and have fun.” - Maggie

When it came time to make her wish, she knew exactly what she wanted: a backyard art studio of her very own where she could keep creating. 💫

Equipped with crafting tools, art supplies, and a space all her own, Maggie’s art studio gives her the chance to explore her creativity every day. Her most recent project? Designing a custom jersey for the Ontario Tower Buzzers’ Make-A-Wish Night!

For wish kids like Maggie, a wish is more than a moment – it helps them reconnect with their passions and rediscover joy beyond their medical journey.

When Asher was diagnosed with cancer, his life became filled with hospital stays, treatments and missed moments at home with his two brothers. But through it all, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse brought him comfort during his toughest days. So, when it came time to choose his wish, Asher knew exactly what he wanted: to give Mickey Mouse a big hug. 🤗

Asher’s wish was more than just a joyful moment, it was a turning point in his medical journey. "A wish is like the light at the end of the tunnel. It clears the fog and the exit becomes clear.” – Ing, wish mom 💙

Today, Asher is done with treatment and has graduated from preschool! 🌟🎓 Congratulations to Asher and to all our graduates this year!

It’s In The Bag: A Mediterranean Summer brought together an inspiring afternoon of fashion, philanthropy, and community - raising more than $300,000 to help grant wishes for local children facing critical illnesses. Special thanks to South Coast Plaza and its incredible retailers for bringing Mediterranean styles to our runway. 👗🌺


Guests were moved by stories like Stacy’s wish to meet Youtuber Rebecca Zamolo and Belle’s wish to visit the set of her favorite TV show, Outer Banks, reminding us the hope and joy that wishes provide.
