Next week we will again be online, starting at 6pm (we meet in person at Virscend at 5:30pm on first and third Thursdays with a hybrid option for those who wish to attend online, and online only at 6pm on the other Thursdays). The Zoom link is on our irvinepm.org website.

The week after next, we will have our club level speech contest for the International Speech Contest.

Today we had our first hybrid meeting, as several of us gathered at Virscend University at 5:30pm while Joel managed Zoom from home. Lynn gave a speech on "the three P's" and Stephen led Table Topics on "Anything Goes".

Going forward, we will meet at 5:30pm at Virscend on first and third Thursdays (connecting from Virscend to the regular Zoom meeting, which will be from 5:30-6:30pm on those days).

On all other Thursdays, we will meet at the regular Zoom link at 6pm.

Going forward, we will meet the first and third Thursday at Virscend University from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. (On other Thursdays, we will continue to meet on Zoom, and we will have a hybrid option for those not able to join us in person on first and third Thursdays.)

Tonight, Nilesh gave a speech about ChatGPT4. Deepti won Table Topics with her speech about the dog that she bought as a puppy, who proved to be a much larger breed than she was told.

A good meeting today. We had two guests.

Speakers: One of our guests, Nikolas, gave a speech about Vehicles of Light, a charity that evacuates refugees from Hot Zones in Ukraine. One of our members, Vijay, gave a speech about resilience. Best Speaker: Nikolas. Best Evaluator: Robert, who evaluated Nikolas.

Table Topics were on overcoming obstacles, with the word of the day being perseverance. Best Table Topics speaker: Robert again.
