Students, families, and community members dribbled across Duke University campus for Dribble for Victory Over Cancer, coming together to help advance pediatric cancer research at Duke Children's Hospital.

Seven years ago, Mikaela was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, and she is still in treatment today. Her experience has inspired her to raise awareness and work toward safer, less toxic treatments for children impacted by pediatric cancer.

Earlier last month, Mikaela helped establish California Neuroblastoma Awareness Day, working with California State Senator Renée Pérez on the resolution recognizing September 3rd for all children and families impacted by pediatric cancer. 🎗️

Her commitment to other children extends beyond advocacy: she founded the Pediatric Hope Project to support children impacted by pediatric cancer and is now working in a Neuroblastoma research lab, learning about the treatments she hopes to improve.

We’re grateful to Mikaela for sharing her story and reminding us what pediatric cancer research is working toward: more options for children and brighter futures for families. 💛

This Sunday, we’re bringing that message to the court at Dribble for Victory Over Cancer at UCLA. We’re grateful to welcome back Signature Estate & Investment Advisors, LLC (SEIA) as a Premier Sponsor and thank them for their continued support of our mission.
